Summer is just around the corner. This is a great time to enjoy backyard cookouts, playing at the park, and pleasant evenings taking walks or relaxing on the porch. Unfortunately, the pleasures of summer can sometimes be spoiled by the unsightly or unsanitary condition of a neighbor’s property.
What our community feels and looks like are significant factors in attracting new residents and businesses. In order to maintain the “hometown” feel that has brought so many of us to Anna, we encourage everyone to be a good neighbor and take pride in your home and community. Let’s work together to tackle the five most common code violations. |

ANNA, TX – As the 5 p.m. deadline March 9 approaches, sources indicate several candidates are behind the scenes considering their options and waiting till the last hour to file.
Candidates filing for the Anna mayor's race or three city council seats must submit their paperwork prior to the 5 p.m. Monday deadline at Anna City Hall. |
