by Stacy DriskellChamber President Hello, for those of you that don’t know me, my name is Stacy Driskell and I am the President of YOUR local Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce located at 104 S Powell Parkway . This column will serve a couple of functions. First will be to highlight a few members and their business each week and second will to keep you updated on upcoming events. We have both business and individual members all of which will tell you that membership in the GACC has its benefits and rewards. We had two great ribbon cuttings this past week. Please help us welcome and congratulate both entities. Dr. Anthony Vallarino and staff have a wonderful office in Melissa. The Family Health Center of Melissa is located just south of Anna on Hwy 5. The office is very warm and inviting. Call 972-837- 1075 to ask questions and schedule your appointments. Be sure to stop in and say hello and welcome them. This Sunday we celebrated with some of the members of the First Christian Church of Anna. Their new Lela and Jim Schollenberger Family Life Center is beautiful with all the exterior charm that the original part of the church displays coupled with the state of the art amenities that you can imagine having in their kitchen. It is a wonderful place. Their Sunday morning worship services are at 11am and their Sunday school hour is at 10am. They are located at 201 S Sherley St, Anna be sure to stop in and visit. Membership in the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce has a wonderful return on your investment. We have many different community events with opportunities for exposure for your company as well as networking and many other benefits. Contact us for more information.
